Aviation Industry Researchers Predict Major Airport Overhauls Over the Next 15 Years #Biometrics

HONG KONG : Aviation industry researchers are predicting a major overhaul of airports within the next 15 years. CAP Strategic Research has released a "white paper" forecasting future changes. These include some travellers skipping security checks and also doing away with immigration on arrival. CAP said the dramatic changes are needed to attract more travellers as airlines struggle to make a profit. Going to the airport can be a stressful experience. Time-consuming lines for check-in, immigration and security can often put a big damper on what is supposed to be a leisurely holiday. CAP said air travellers are becoming increasingly turned off - something which does not bode well for airlines struggling to make a profit.
