HPB (@HPBsg) says sorry for offensive mis-tweet

A tweet on Friday from the Health Promotion Board (HPB) got netizens all aflutter. But instead of healthy living content, HPB's followers on Twitter received a message containing offensive language. It was a mis-tweet that occurred when one employee used the @HPBsg corporate account instead of his personal account. Although the tweet was removed soon after, it was already making its rounds among Twitter users. When contacted, a HPB spokesperson apologised and said: "We take this seriously and will look into this matter. We will ensure that this does not happen again." Online sentiment towards the gaffe was mostly sympathetic. Said cl0udi3: "Everyone makes mistakes. I'm sure the person's already feeling bad abt the tweet that has gone wrong. Let's move on!"
