'Who's going to pay for alternative transport?' Irate commuter questions #SMRT staff

Furthermore, the staff already told you to take their shuttle bus already, why must u add in "taxis and walk , and who's gonna pay for it?" Don't you think that all your words are redundant? On the other hand, SMRT seriously needs to buck up on their maintenance work, 2days straight in a roll, your network breakdown causing a stir during the morning and evening peaks. Please do smth abt it. The difference between the 2 major transport operator in terms of service standards is pulling further already. Still, if no improvement is to be done, LTA should really consider getting another operator to remain competitive.
