The whole system of Singapore has evolve over the years to place practically everything on the seemingly wrong importance. While business is to generate revenue, they compromise on the quality of the products, neglected on the service quality and policies implemented put people in a position where they have no other choice than the bad service and quality of the products and service offered. The malfunction of the SMRT trains is a very good example of poor quality of the products and services. The poor choice of head of the corporation or rather the incapability of the retaining or recruiting somebody of vast relevant experience to run the company. A cronyism approach was taken instead.
