SMRT spokesman says this morning's breakdown likely due to similar problem that caused Thursday's disruption

An SMRT spokesman said Saturday morning's breakdown was likely due to a similar problem that caused a five-hour disruption on the same North-South MRT line on Thursday evening. Then, a misalignment between the train track and 'collector shoes', special components that trains draw power from, had caused the fault.
