GE: Parties start walkabouts

SINGAPORE: Following the release of the new electoral boundaries this week, political parties were out doing walkabouts on Sunday morning, in several constituencies. The Singapore Democratic Alliance reached out to the Sunday crowd at Rivervale Plaza in Sengkang. The National Solidarity Party was seen making their rounds and their presence felt in the new single ward of Yuhua in Jurong. The Whampoa area, which has been carved into a single ward, also saw lots of activity - the Singapore Democratic Party was busy handing out fliers at the Whampoa Food Centre. Meanwhile, the People's Action Party's Heng Chee How, the incumbent MP there, was doing his usual rounds - together with his grassroots leaders.
