Moudden plots for tennis and Etoile FC academy

SINGAPORE - He is the chairman of the Michezo Group, organisers of the inaugural Singapore Women's Tennis Exhibition (SWTE). They want to turn it into a WTA Challenger event next year. While he delves in tennis, Hicham Moudden insists he has not forgotten football and Etoile FC. The 41-year-old entrepreneur, who took over the reins of the S-League club in June, also has big plans for the 2010 champions next year. Speaking to Today on the sidelines of the SWTE yesterday, he said: "Michezo's objective is to develop sports in the region, and we're starting in Singapore, with football and tennis, and will perhaps get into other sports as well." Moudden is pleased with the SWTE. "We are looking at setting up a tennis academy similar to the one we have at Etoile, and we've been in touch with the WTA over email about next year's event," he revealed.
