Throughout his years of performing in Chestnuts, Jonathan Lim has pulled off many hilarious moments spoofing other people. But he reckons the most absurd thing he's ever done came last year - where he transformed into "Kit Chan" and proceeded to sing two of her songs. At the same time. "I sang both Home and her December Rains Mandarin hit song simultaneously, moving between songs every half-sentence! I was crazy to risk it but it paid off so well," he recalled. "Not only did the two songs' lyrics make surprising sense in counterpoint like that, the ending was uproariously patriotic." If you missed that lyrical mash-up feat, don't worry - it'll be one of the sketches that's coming back in iChestnuts 15, which will be staged next month.
