At whose expense is VB appealing for patience in solving the problem of flooding? I pity the shopowners who suffer business losses every time it rains and floods. Unless these shopowners' business losses could be compensated, patience cannot be and is not an option. Alternatively, we can still exercise more patience if on top of the compensation to affected shop owners, your salary is also adjusted downwards for every event of flooding like the way liquidated damages work. Where people's livelihood is concerned, patience means government inactivity. We cannot tolerate ministers taking sky-high pay producing no work! Conversely, if ministers' salaries were to be low, we have nothing to say..... So, if you cannot do the job, stop acting as if you can and waste taxpayers' hard-earned money. Stepping down is your only option.
