Proposed salary cuts deeper than expected: analysts #Singapore

the issue is that in the past, there was no debate on the pay. Someone just proposed it and the motion was passed within minutes. This is called "one party parliament" justice system. The voters have themselves to blame for condoning such a situation !! This is further worsened by a state controlled media which hides sensitive news like the approved President's salary to $3.3m within minutes. (for doing ceremonial duties !) LKY and GCT kept saying they need to pay high salaries to attract "talent" but the bunch of ministers are mostly average material. Look at MBT - a useless bum who kept producing statistics to justify his inaction on the housing crisis -you call this "talent"??? WKS refused to accept responsibility for Mas Selamat case and was in charge of targeting 6.5m population. When the population hits 5.1m, the country was plunged into a crisis from jobs, housing, ...
