You poor thing. No matter how hard you try, there just is no way to keep up with the rest of us. All these mumbo jumbo about property prices, bubbles, financial crsis, immigrants, demand and supply.. must be really baffling to you. Especially when you consider how the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, to put it bluntly, made you look like a fool, of course, now is the best time to throw caution to the wind. Nevermind that you didn’t consider the influx of foreigners coming in or the shrinkage in housing supply due to your lax policy to encourage mass enbloc, these things are not easy to understand la. But don’t worry. We Singaporeans are all very magnanimous and generous. Sometimes, it really isn’t about getting the brightest and the best of the best to manage the country.
