UNIFEM, musicians & Lasalle students join forces to promote awareness against domestic violence

UNIFEM, six students from Lasalle College Of The Arts and musicians are joining forces for a concert to promote awareness against domestic violence. Love-In will be held on March 6 at Hong Lim Park, and will feature local music acts such as Typewriter, King Kong Jane, The Pinholes, For This Cycle, and Basement In My Loft. It all began when the students - Shierly Angelina, 20; Samrinah Mulani, 20; Jennifer Pedersen, 21; Juni Syazwani, 21; Jerusha Tan, 22; and Debbie Yong, 20 - were tasked to come up with a project for their Arts Management diploma course at Lasalle. The girls threw around different ideas before finally deciding on a concert. Tackling domestic violence is an issue they all feel strongly for.
