Trio caught painting insults against Malaysian PM's wife
KUALA LUMPUR (THE STAR/ ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - A reporter and two freelance workers of a political newspaper were caught for allegedly painting derogatory words against the Prime Minister's wife on several structures in the city. They were nabbed by two policemen near the Angkasapuri rail station here at around 6.10am (6.10am Singapore time) yesterday. The suspects, who were seen outside a parked car, tried to flee in the car when they sensed the presence of the men in blue but the policemen managed to stop them. Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Wan Abdul Bari Wan Abdul Khalid said upon inspection, the policemen found 24 cans of spray paint.
