Unfamiliar roads and bad weather conditions can be a dangerous combination. Here's how to better prepare yourself.

Singaporeans based abroad told The Straits Times that the unfamiliar highways and roads can pose problems, especially in poor weather conditions. 'Driving in Singapore is drastically different from driving in Missouri during the winter when there is frost and slippery roads,' said engineer Marc Tung, 32, who left here two years ago to work for a multinational company in the US.
