SINGAPORE - THE dog named Wander, which had been viciously abused with a metal chain, leaving its face and snout disfigured has been put down this afternoon. A Facebook post on Friday evening by Ms Lyn Loh, a volunteer with Mdm Wong's Shelter - the facility which had first taken the dog in - said that a "painful decision" was made to end its suffering. "It was apparent that her condition has deteriorated drastically. The last vet report confirmed our worst fears... Wander is suffering from cancer growth, which is derived from inflammation from her injuries," the post read. "Wander hasn't been eating and is down to her skin and bones. The growth on her face is so aggressive that her both eyes are swollen shut," Ms Loh said. Wander, a female mongrel, was brought in to Mdm Wong's Shelter in early January by a 48-year-old man, Mr Ng, who had been feeding the stray for the past...
