GE: PAP has 'a good team'

SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said the People's Action Party has a good team for the coming General Election. Mr Lee said the team would be introduced in due course. He also said it would be good if all 27 electoral constituencies, or 87 seats for Member of Parliament, are contested in the GE. Mr Lee said this on Saturday during a walkabout in Aljunied-Hougang, which is part of Aljunied Group Representation Constituency (GRC) and Punggol South, which belongs to Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC. He also commented on the state of the opposition, which has seen a string of resignations and party movements recently. "It seems to me rather exciting day-to-day changes, transformations, quarrels, squabbles, new friendships and old enmities all surfacing at the same time," Mr Lee said. "I look forward to the next instalment."
