SINGAPORE: Singapore's major opposition parties are meeting for the second time this week to finalise their seat allocation for the coming General Election which must take place before February next year. The meeting began at around 3pm on Saturday. A new face, Mr Andrew Kuan, who attempted to contest the last presidential election, also joined the session. Mr Kuan's presence at the meeting has fuelled speculation that he may be joining one of the political parties. Election fever has heightened since the recent release of the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee (EBRC) Report, which carved out 12 Single-Member Constituencies (SMCs) and 15 Group Representation Constituencies (GRCs).
