In a statement released on Thursday, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said there will be 1,239 COEs per month for cars up to 1,600cc and taxis from February to July, up from 1,096 per month for the August 2011-January 2012 period. There will be 699 COEs for cars above 1,600cc, down from 706.
