China PM to visit Brunei to mark 20 years of ties: CHINESE Prime Minister Wen Jiabao will visit Brunei this year...

CHINESE Prime Minister Wen Jiabao will visit Brunei this year to mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Brunei and China. Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Min Yongnian said the foreign ministries of both countries were still discussing possible dates, but nothing has been confirmed yet. "We are all eagerly awaiting confirmation, and hopefully it will happen soon." The China premier had originally planned to visit Brunei last April, but the trip was cancelled following a devastating 7.1 magnitude earthquake which hit Yushu County of Qinghai Province at that time, leaving hundreds of people dead and more than 10,000 injured.
