Seven storey-high #water '#fountain' gushes out from #Pasir #Ris grass patch

Water was seen sprouting out from a grass patch in Pasir Ris Drive 4, and going up to seven storeys high earlier today (Jan 15) by several STOMPers. STOMPer Wesley , who took a video of the water sprout, wrote: "I saw the water coming out of the ground at around 3.45pm today (Jan 15). The pedestrian walkway just underneath it was flooded and kids were seen having fun with the water there but they were asked to vacate the area by police officers. "The leak went on for about 45 minutes at least before personnel from the Singapore Civil Defence Force came by and stopped it. "The cause of this leakage seem to be a lawnmower which was parked very near the 'fountain'." STOMPer The Kas wrote: "Heard from a friend that this water leak was due to a burst fire hydrant."
