Singapore one of the top places to live and work

SINGAPORE - Singapore has been named in the top five global destinations to relocate to, an international survey of professionals released yesterday revealed, with 100 per cent of female respondents saying they would recommend working here to others. The Global Professionals on the Move Report 2011, commissioned by international specialist recruitment group Hydrogen, surveyed 2,637 professionals from 85 countries. Respondents placed Singapore joint fifth with Canada, after the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Switzerland. Hong Kong was joint sixth with France and the United Arab Emirates. Eighty per cent of the professionals surveyed found it easy to settle in and make new friends in Singapore.
