Identity of skeletal remains found in North Bridge HDB flat last year still unknown

The skeletal remains of a man found in the toilet of a rental flat was the subject of a coroner's inquiry on Tuesday. The court heard that the unit at Block 7 North Bridge Road where the remains were found was rented by Mr Teow Lye Hock and Mr Low Jim Kow, who had been living there since December 2003. Mr Teow, 58, had been paying the rental which was deducted from his POSBank account. But he had defaulted payment for almost a year before the skeleton was discovered on Feb 25 last year, when the flat was being repossessed by the Housing Board.
