Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew said this in Parliament on Tuesday in response to a question from MP Lim Biow Chuan (Mountbatten SMC) on whether the long waiting times had improved since the fare revision. Mr Lui added that commuters had also found it easier to call and book a taxi. But he, as well as transport experts, said it was premature to say for sure if the changes will be permanent.
