Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew, Please dun bullshit with us and throw smoke screen, neither we commuters are easily fooled!!! The main intention of raising the cabfare and extending the peak period is to FORCE THE COMMUTERS TO TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORT especially the new MRT lines, because the new MRT lines is not generating enough revenue due to lack of passengers. Many low income to middle income commuters and the taxi drivers are affected by such dragocian policy. The taxi fare are alreadly so expensive and such measures increase those who urgently needs to take taxi or those who had OT needed a taxi to go home after a tired day. Taxi drivers complained that they earned less than before and needed to make more efforts to hunt for customers, especially after 8 pm. Government and Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew had made policies convinent to the themselves and at the expense...
