Singapre hockey chief calls for the sacking of #SLeague deputy CEO Johan Gouttefangeas

SINGAPORE - The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) has got down to work to review and eventually address the controversy surrounding Johan Gouttefangeas' appointment as deputy chief executive officer (CEO) of the S-League. On Tuesday, The New Paper reported that the 34-year-old was banned from doing business in his native France for five years after two of his businesses there went bankrupt in 2010. Singapore Sports Council CEO Lim Teck Yin, part of the selection panel that picked Gouttefangeas, revealed that the Frenchman failed to disclose this. Several National Sports Association (NSA) presidents TODAY spoke to said under such circumstances, invoking clauses written into contracts could be the best avenue for recourse.
