LIFE can be a juggling act and Ms Judy Kang knows it only too well. The Singapore Institute of Management (SIM)-Richard K M Eu scholar quit her job last year to pursue a one-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School in the United Kingdom while she was pregnant. She has since given birth and is taking care of her baby while juggling examinations, presentations and even community work. Her "can do" attitude was one of the reasons she won the scholarship, which she says heightened her sense of self-awareness and helped her build confidence. Ms Kang, 33, who was trained as an engineer in university, says: "Being a scholar heightens my level of self-awareness (in the sense) that I am inadequate and there is a need to address these inadequacies, and that I can manage both motherhood and MBA if I try hard enough.
