A man who was filmed stopping a public bus in the middle of Serangoon Road has been arrested by the police. The incident happened at around 6pm on Saturday. An SBS Transit service 65 bus had pulled out of a bus stop in front of a Hindu temple along Serangoon Road, when the 51-year-old man rushed across the road from the right. He stood in front of the bus which was already on the second lane of the road, obstructed it and demanded that the bus driver allow him to board the bus. After the bus driver refused to do so, the man hit and kicked the exterior of the bus. Bus operator SBS Transit said the left rear mirror and front wiper of the bus was damaged.
