Starting today, 23 January, the Sampan Rides will operate from to 10AM to 9PM daily. Last ride will be at 8:45PM.

Take a Sampan ride along the canal at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Sit back and relax, and enjoy the sensation of being gently paddled by hand in a beautifully-crafted Chinese wooden boat. Lose yourself in this unique experience, along a stretch of blue-green water, and marvel at dancing water refractions under the coolness of a passing tunnel. Make a wish once you circle the Rain Oculus and then look up. You might just be privy to the hourly cascade of international artist Ned Kahn’s 22-meter diameter acrylic bowl set on a 90-ton steel structure that releases more than 22,000 liters of water per minute, from two storeys above. The Sampan ride is an irresistible treat that’s not to be missed.
