China professor slammed for calling HK people ‘dogs’. S'poreans not spared either.

A CONTROVERSIAL Chinese professor has sparked an outcry by calling Hong Kong people “b*******, “dogs” and “cheats”. Professor Kong Qingdong – famous for his public use of profanities – made the comments after a video showing a mainland girl being rebuked by Hong Kong locals for flouting rules against eating aboard the southern city’s subway trains went viral online. Hong Kongers weren’t the only target of the professor’s tirade; Singaporeans weren’t spared, too. He said Singaporeans have “no quality” because we rely on laws and fines to keep people in line. More in Tuesday's edition (Jan 24) of The New Paper.
