Craig Brennan Tuesday, January 24, 2012 Newcomer to training ranks Leticia Dragon landed her first trophy race when Aserious took out the $75,000 Class 3 Macau Jockey Club Trophy over 1600m on Tuesday. Ridden by last season’s champion jockey Joao Moreira, who was at the double having won the opening race aboard Good Towkay, Aserious, the $10 favourite, scored by a length-and-a-quarter over Meteor Mike (Olivier Placais) with Chase Me (Oscar Chavez) a half-length away in third place. Dragon only began her training career at the start of the 2012 season on January 1 and Tuesday’s success was her fourth winner for the year.
