New Skills Training for Excellence Programme Announced: S$150M programme catered for professionals, managers, ex...

Professionals, managers, executives and technicians (PMETs) who want to increase and improve their know-how will soon get a new programme specifically catered to their needs. Under the Skills Training for Excellence Programme (STEP) , they can: increase their industry- and occupation-specific knowledge and skills acquire other relevant skill sets such as marketing, finance and human resource stay up-to-date with new trends and developments in their sectors Training will be in the form of small bite-sized modules, so as to help participants juggle their work commitments. STEP will also develop scholarships and customised training roadmaps for PMETs in various sectors. The Government will invest S$150 million over the next 3 years under STEP.
