Serial peeping tom, who has at least 10 previous convictions, caught again after peeping at woman in toilet

A serial peeping tom has been caught again after he snuck into a female toilet and peeped at a woman in Kallang MRT station earlier this month. Odd job worker Choo Ah Lui, 53, has a string of at least 10 prior convictions dating back to 1988 for similar offences of criminal trespassing and intrusion of privacy. Using the same modus operandi as he did in previous convictions, Choo allegedly snuck into a female toilet and hid in a cubicle on Jan 9. He then tried to peep at a 26-year-old woman who works in the food and beverage industry when she entered the cubicle next to him. If convicted of criminal trespassing, Choo could be jailed for up to three months and fined up to $1,500. For insulting the modesty of a woman, he could face up to one year in jail and a fine.
