The latest figures from OpenNet, the consortium building the network, indicate that this works out to 100,000 fibre broadband subscribers. At a ceremony to fete the 100,000th subscriber on Wednesday, OpenNet said it expects a quarter of all households to be connected by early next year. OpenNet marks the coming together of Axia NetMedia, SingTel, SP Telecommunications and Singapore Press Holdings.
