SAFFC mix books and football with new study programme #SLeague

SINGAPORE - Ever since the S-League was launched in 1996, young football talent in Singapore have had the opportunity to pursue a professional career in the game they love. But, in their encounters with local players over the years, SAFFC general manager Kok Wai Leong said the club found many of them did not have qualifications or trade skills to start a new career after football. Eight-time champions SAFFC, the most successful club in the S-League, have now partnered with local education providers, Asia Pacific School of Sports and Business (APSSB), to set up a programme for young hopefuls to pursue a diploma in sports management, while they train with the club for a shot at professional football.
