Over 100 needy students improve PSLE grades with Project Lend-a-Hand

12-year-old Aldino Putra Misti was barely passing his tests when he joined Project Lend-a-Hand last June. Three months after free tuition classes in English and Science, the Qifa Primary School pupil scored an unexpected 217 for his Primary School Leaving Exams (PSLE). He is one of 33 pupils who passed their PSLE last year, thanks to this project. Started in 2009 by Jamiyah Singapore through Jamiyah Business School, the project has helped over 100 needy pupils, whose family household income is below $2,000, achieve better PSLE scores.
