Man slashed in Tampines after alighting from taxi

A 27-year-old man was slashed in Tampines early yesterday morning, his attackers apparently lying in wait for him. Lianhe Wanbao yesterday reported that the man was attacked by two men after he had alighted from a taxi at Tampines St 21, just outside Pasir Ris Secondary School. Witnesses believe the two burly men had set up an ambush for their victim. When he got off the taxi, his attackers chased him for about 500 metres before getting hold of him.
