The Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) said on Monday that from April this year, telcos have to ensure more than 99 per cent coverage nationwide in all outdoor areas. Previously, the requirement was more than 95 per cent. From April next year, telcos have to ensure that all floors in tall buildings have to have more than 85 per cent coverage.
