Stomper Kira spotted a commuter who was holding on to a large metal saw while in plain sight of everyone on the train today afternoon (Apr 21). According to the Stomper, the middle-aged man had boarded the train at Yishun at around 5pm and was still holding the saw at City Hall station. In a phone conversation with Stomp, Kira said: "I was taking the North-South line when a middle-aged man walked into the MRT train while holding a rusted saw which had no form of cover or such. "Is this allowed? Isn't it kind of dangerous?" The Stomper added that other commuters were trying to steer clear of the man and his saw.
