SINGAPORE - A children's play centre was the unconventional setting for a feedback session yesterday. The discussion on marriage and parenthood issues, held at The Polliwogs along East Coast Beach, seemed to go down well with the audience of about 50 stay-at-home mums and dads. Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Lim Hwee Hua, who chaired the dialogue session, described it as "a revised approach". Previously, because such discussions "were usually done after work, at night, we found under-representation by the stay-home mums and families with young kids", she said. It was the first in a series of four feedback sessions - an initiative by Mrs Lim, together with fellow Members of Parliament Dr Amy Khor and Ms Grace Fu - which will review policies relating to marriage and parenthood.
