Indonesia protests to US ambassador over WikiLeaks reports - TODAYonline

JAKARTA - Indonesia summoned the United States ambassador on Friday to file a protest over reports by two Australian newspapers which said the US Embassy in Jakarta had expressed doubts about President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's integrity. "The government of Indonesia has formally submitted its strong protest over the information that has been included in the two aforementioned media and categorically denies as being completely without foundation all the information contained in the two reports," Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa said. "We have made efforts to combat corruption, efforts to promote good governance," Mr Natalegawa added.
