Questions raised over Swedish prosecution's impartiality in Assange case @Wikileaks #FREEJULIANASSANGE

LONDON - The police investigator who first interviewed two Swedish women about allegations of rape and sexual assault against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is a friend and political associate of one of the women, a Swedish newspaper has claimed. The female officer became friends with the woman referred to in court as Miss A through Sweden's Social Democratic Party, in which both are involved, according to Expressen. They corresponded over the Internet for 16 months before the allegations were made against Mr Assange. Miss A has a link to the officer's private blog from her personal page, the newspaper said, and the officer has made anti-Assange comments on the Internet. The newspaper also said the officer had just started her shift on Aug 20 when Miss A and the other woman, Miss B, arrived to make a complaint against Mr Assange.
