Go Green in East Flatbush Brooklyn - Yahoo! 16 hours ago - Th

The Neighborhood Housing Services of East Flatbush Brooklyn will be having an Eco-fair on May 7, 2011. The idea is to encourage the people of Brooklyn to make this city green by utilizing means that are eco-friendly. There are a variety of reasons to become eco-conscious, but the most obvious reason is, "We are not going to spend much time discussing this benefit as it's the overall point of the going green movement , but saving the Earth is the biggest benefit of going green. While our collective actions have done huge amounts of damage to our planet, it is those same collective actions that can save it." The Eco Fair will be from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is free to the public. The Neighborhood Housing Service of East Flatbush is located at 2806 Church Avenue. For more information, call: (718) 469-4679.
