SINGAPORE : Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Yaacob Ibrahim has said the recent comment by Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew on the integration of Malay-Muslims in Singapore has brought closure. Mr Lee has said he stands corrected on his remarks on Muslim integration made in the book "Lee Kuan Yew: Hard Truths To Keep Singapore Going". Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a community event on Sunday, Dr Yaacob said he can understand the feeling of being hurt will linger for a while. But he urged the community to move on. Dr Yaacob, who is also Minister for Environment and Water Resources, said: "At the end of the day, I see this event as something which turn out to be very good for the community, because what is important is that we have lots of non-Muslims who have stepped forward to say, hey there is no problem with the Muslims integrating, there is no problem with m...
