So ironic for NUS to use styrofoam and plastic disposables at climate change forum

was disappointed to see styrofoam and plastic disposables being used at an NUS forum that forum that was meant to discuss the issue of climate change. Said the STOMPer: "I was at a recent forum in NUS about climate change and what it meant for Singapore. "Minister Vivian Balakrishnan spoke about Singapore’s limitations, and how these constraints can be turned into strengths. "Good speech, but what was really upsetting and disappointing was that styrofoam and plastic disposables were used for a forum that was meant to discuss the issue of climate change. "Styrofoam is known to be harmful for the environment because of the toxic chemicals released during production, and during incineration, even leaching out to the food we eat.
