The Singapore Red Cross Society has begun accepting donations for victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. -- PHOTO: AFP THE Singapore Red Cross Society has begun accepting donations for victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, and will do so until April 13. Money collected for the Japan Disaster 2011 fund will go towards the relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts for survivors. Those who wish to make a donation may do so via: Cash donations at the Singapore Red Cross at 15 Penang Lane from Mondays to Fridays from 9.30am to 9pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9.30am to 6pm. Cheque donations made payable to the 'Singapore Red Cross Society' and sent to the Singapore Red Cross at 15 Penang Lane, Singapore 238486.
