Malaysian man runs amok, kills ex-wife

(THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - A driver, who paid a late night visit to his ex-wife, ran amok when she refused to open the door, and torched the woman's car before stabbing her to death. Fortune-teller Ung Siew Lin, 46, who sustained injures to her head, body and arms, died at the scene. Also injured in the attack were her eldest daughter Wong Chiew Ying, 26, who suffered a broken left arm, and foster daughter Ch'ng Sheve Mei, 26, who had head injuries and broken right arm. Both were admitted to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital here. Kota Setar acting OCPD Superintendent Baharom Abu said the incident occurred at 12.17am (12.17am Singapore time) on Friday at Ung's house on Jalan 6, Taman Saga here.
