Please learn to write a cover letter of some sort. It doesn’t have to be amazing but it should quickly tell me where you are, what you do, what you would love to do and any other meaningful tidbits that would get my attention. Extra bonus points if you even manage to align your talents to the actual job posting. Remember that a company is looking through hundreds of emails and if you have taken no initiative to tailor your information to the job – then why should the company do anything other than trash the email? Most people looking at resumes rarely go past the topsheet as we call it. Do not send in your resume repeatedly. This is just a nuisance and leads to your emails going to trash.
