1st This-Ability Sports Carnival 2011

To kick-start the year 2011 with joie de vivre, the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) is organising our 1st This-Ability Sports Carnival. In promotion of sports inclusion and to create awareness of disability sports, this event is organised for people with or without disabilities to come and WATCH, CHEER and PLAY together. Through this event, we hope that participants will understand the importance of rehabilitative sports as well as to learn more about the various developmental sports provided by SDSC. Participants will be introduced to different sports including bowling, handcycling, sailing and many more. There will be a range of nine sports booths set by SDSC and our National Disability Sports Associations (NDSAs) for the participants to try out the different sports.
