Cisco officer gun goes off in MRT toilet
The revolver of an auxiliary police is stowed in the holster which has a clip in button lapel. Assume that is a standard kind of issue. To fire the revolver accidentally in that undrawn position is not easy. The police go toilet to do what? Take a @#$%, urinate, wash the face, comb the hair, or just look at the mirror? Still no reason to cause the gun to go off unless that idiot had drawn the gun out. Police on certain duty need to carry firearms, I accept that as a necessity. My worry is how people are employed into the Police Force. My question is how are Police trained nowadays? Cannot imagine if an automatic gun was to go off while a police was on duty guarding a common day ATM escort job in a crowded shopping centre. If Police cannot be trusted with their guns anymore, what will they be issued? A parang, bow and arrows?
