A group of students took part in the 3M Skipping Challenge @ South East during the launch last month. About 250 needy households in the South East District received 3M health and safety items. -- ST PHOTO: DESMOND FOO ABOUT 250 needy households in the South East District received 3M health and safety items such as cold or hot pads, wet area mats and bathroom hooks on Monday. This initiative is a result of the 3M Skipping Challenge @ South East, which saw 10, 000 participants from 45 schools and private organisations setting a record of 2.1 million skips. For every 300 skips, innovation company 3M donated a health and safety product. In total, $60,000 worth of 3M products would be donated to the needy elderly.
